BEHIND LAKAD PAMANA

Lakad Pamana is a group of students from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde taking up Multimedia arts, committed to bridging the gap between the Filipino youth and the cultural legacy of the Marikina shoe industry.

MISSION

Our mission is to inform the Filipino youth about the current state of the Marikina shoe industry and its shoemakers through an engaging website that includes stories, articles, and short-form videos, and to drum up interest for youths to learn more about shoemaking.

VISION

To see the Marikina shoe industry revitalized by a new generation of informed and engaged Filipino youth, who actively participate in the preservation of the craft, ensuring the local shoemakers gain the attention and support needed to thrive in a globalized world.

Marion Marga Celina Vergara aka. Macy is a Multimedia Arts student skilled in visual storytelling and specializes in graphic Design, film, and photography.

John Hendrix Valdez is a multimedia arts student specializing in 3D modeling, Film, and coding. Leveraging his technical strengths, he focuses on 3D visualizations, product mock-ups, and film production.

HENDRIX

Colinne Villanueva is a multimedia artist that specializes in story telling, advertising, illustration, and graphic design. She is also present within a handful of orgs, while mostly focusing on working as a visual designer, she was also an externals officer of DrawInk.

Williane Amandine Tobias aka. Yani is a multimedia artist specializing in copywriting, graphic design, and illustration. As an aspiring writer, she has contributed articles to the Benildean Press Corps and illustrated a children's storybook.

Aaliyah Sullano aka. Aali is a multimedia artist and visual story-teller, specializing in UI/UX, graphic design, illustration, and branding. She is passionate about communicating effectively through her work.
