BEHIND LAKAD PAMANA
Lakad Pamana aims to bridge the gap between the Marikina shoe industry’s traditional heritage and the modern Filipino youth. Through this website and short-form videos, we provide the information and tools needed to foster new engagement and ensure the craft’s valuable quality endures
MISSION
Our mission is to inform the Filipino youth about the current state of the Marikina shoe industry and its shoemakers through an engaging website that includes stories, articles, and short-form videos, and to drum up interest for youths to learn more about shoemaking.
VISION
To see the Marikina shoe industry revitalized by a new generation of informed and engaged Filipino youth, who actively participate in the preservation of the craft, ensuring the local shoemakers gain the attention and support needed to thrive in a globalized world.

Swelas productions is a group of students from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde taking up Multimedia arts, committed to bridging the gap between the Filipino youth and the cultural legacy of the Marikina shoe industry.
