BEHIND LAKAD PAMANA
Our project Lakad Pamana is driven to revitalize the local shoemaking craft, we must go beyond simple awareness; our mission is to actively inform the youth about the shoemakers’ challenges and to involve them by capturing their modern style preferences to inspire innovation.
MISSION
Our mission is to inform the Filipino youth about the current state of the Marikina shoe industry and its shoemakers through an engaging website that includes stories, articles, and short-form videos, and involve them directly by harnessing their modern design style preferences to create a sustainable path forward for the craft’s legacy (PLS CHANGE ALIGNING TO PROJECT OBJECTIVES)
VISION
To see the Marikina shoe industry revitalized by a new generation of informed and engaged Filipino youth, who actively participate in the preservation of the craft, ensuring the local shoemakers gain the attention and support needed to thrive in a globalized world.

Swelas productions is a group of students from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde taking up Multimedia arts, committed to bridging the gap between the Filipino youth and the cultural legacy of the Marikina shoe industry.
